Join us for the final performance of the 2016-2017 school year, #caesar, a completely original physical theatre adaptation of William Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar.
Our adaptation follows a class of students at a fictional preperatrory school who are studying Shakespeare's story of ambition and betrayal while navigating through a shift in power for their student body leadership. Through studying the text, the students find how their lives mirror those of the characters very quickly. Our production will feature original physical theatre choreography developed by the cast to highlight the tensions on the stage.
We will be performing our version of #caesar during Iris Festival week in Keizer, Wednesday through Saturday nights, May 17-20 at 7pm. There will be no matinee on Saturday due to the parad. Please think about coming out to support this production and help us send the 2016-2017 off with a bang!
